Traditions

Italy has many traditions, such as palm weaving, La Bomboniera and the art of  homemade wine.  Italians love music, especially Opera, going to see Opera is a great treat for Italians. Weddings are also very important, Italians normally play music, make lovely wine, dance and play. La Bomboniera is the art of making small figures of the bride and groom, they put the little people on the wedding cakes. Italy is full of vineyards, this is why they are so well known for making wine and other divine beverages. Palm weaving involves bending and twisting palm leaves to form intricate patterns and delicate sculptures. Normally Italians put these around their house, on the window sill on the kitchen table etc.
