Pasta

Pasta originates from over 1000 years ago, when the Arabs invaded Italy, they brought with them a food which was in essence the early pasta. The Arabs never really carried on with the idea, therefore the Italians decided to capitalise. That is why nowadays, pasta is mainly associated with Italy. Blending it with divine tomato bolognese with a sprinkling of mozzarella is Italy's tendency when serving this meal. Pasta is made from wheat and water. There are many types of pasta, Penne, Fusili, Tortiglioni, Fusili Bucati Corti, Farfalle Tondi, Macaroni, Mezze, Fiocchi Rigati, Sedanini, Penette, Canaroni to name but a few.
